Prereq

Prereq is a real-time AI lecture copilot designed to help students understand concepts as lectures happen. The system converts live lecture streams into evolving knowledge graphs, identifies prerequisite gaps, and generates personalized explanations and study pathways in real time.

Built with Next.js, Express, PostgreSQL, Redis, and WebSocket infrastructure, the platform achieved sub-500ms latency for live classroom feedback and adaptive tutoring. The project won 2nd place in the Education Track at TreeHacks 2026 out of 1000+ participants.
